It crossed my mind yesterday that I have given out lots of free training on how to create an Amazon Website or what’s the best keyword tool or free plugin for WordPress or Joomla or whatever but I haven’t considered the visitors out there who simply don’t know how to get the basic WordPress or Joomla site up there.

It’s a bit pointless showing people all this really cool stuff if they haven’t
even got a website up there and have NO CLUE where to start isn’t it?

Well the absolute truth is Most of the earnings figures you do see ARE completely made up and you should be VERY careful of taking too much notice of most of these claims ESPECIALLY the ones in these blind sales letters that claim $100,000+ every month but fail to tell you anything about how it’s done.

The fact is most of those screenshots ARE fake and I’ll tell you now which screenshots are Very easy to fake and therefore which you should be VERY wary of believing they are true.

Those with White Backgrounds!

With a white background any school kid can cover up the original text and insert some new text of their own. There’s no awkward patterns or stuff like that which makes it Very difficult to forge.. White is White and black text is black text.. Get it now?

Guess what?

Clickbank stats pages have white backgrounds and I seriously doubt that ANY of the ones you see on these salesletters are true.

Here’s a tip – Go to Google Images and type in “Clickbank Screenshots” – Copy any of these and put them in your salespage and YOU are as big an expert at making money online as ANY of these Fakers

The only type of “Income proof” you should believe where Clickbank figures are shown is where you actually see the person login to the site and show you their commission figures. As far as I know this is impossible to forge without building a complete replica Clickbank site and most of the people trying to get you to part with money with false stats aren’t going to be able to do that. It would take a top of the line web developer to do that and an AWFUL lot of expensive work. I actually show you inside My Clickbank account HERE using Camtasia which simply records the screen in video form.

The only other type of proof I would tend to believe are scans of checks as most of these have some kind of background and this makes it very difficult for scammers to forge..

This isn’t the end of it where Clickbank figures are concerned. Be very wary (even on video) when you see a Clickbank account with no trading figures then all of a sudden massive earnings figures suddenly appear. These are extremely likely to be some kind of Launch income figures and NOT figures earned from the actual product they are trying to sell you. I have seen this “scam” used many times.

So there you have it – a quick guide on “Income Proof” and what to ignore and also what to put a little more credence to.

This all happens in the subconcious tough and when it comes to designing websites especially most of us just guess at which color goes with which. Here is EXACTLY how I setup this project.

First of all good Indian programmers charge a LOT less than the equivalent programmer would in the US or UK.

I pay mine $12 per hour which in the UK is shop worker wages I imagine it’s similar in the US…?

There’s no great secret to this process just some common sense and yet some people have even created products and sold you this very basic information. I bet you’ve already seen “OutSourcing” products yeah? – Well don’t buy them. I’ll give you the info for free.

1, Go to vworker.com and create a project. There’s plenty of guidance on the site but it’s all point and click anyway.

2, Within a day or two you will have loads of quotes from various programmers from all over the World.

3, DON’T put absolutely every detail in the first post. Just make it a general description and ask interested programmers to message you through the vworker system. You will get lots of messages. Any that quote a price discard them. They don’t even know the details and they are quoting prices? WRONG! You don’t want to deal with these people. (That’s the first filter)

3, You know roughly what you think the work is worth to you so it’s now time to message back to who’s left with complete details of your project and then ask them for a comprehensive quote with an itemised and costed list of each item.

4, Now you can judge for yourself who seems a likely candidate. Eliminate the rest.

5, Every worker on vworker.com who has done any work will have reviews and testimonials on the site. Judge for yourself whether you like them or not. If you see a negative icon be sure to read the review because it could be the buyer being snotty and vworker has an arbitration service in the case of arguments and these are worth studying in case it wasn’t even the workers fault. The company I am working with had a couple of negative comments but the vast majority were fine..

6, Now then folks this is a little naughty bit BUT if you’re into saving money you’ll thank me for this advice. Get the programmer/worker to contact you on Skype and do everything from there.

Why?

vworker charges 15% of the total cost of the project in commission! – This would have cost me about $3000! Instead use escrow.com as your protection for doing this deal. (Escrow.com are the only escrow company recommended by eBay and therefore the safest by far. I did check into one or two other services offering escrow services but therir sites got less visitors than my sites so I was dubious about sending them my money.) They should be bigger than that in my opinion. Escrow.com will hold on to your money so both you and the worker can see the money is there. When the work is done and to satisfaction the worker gets paid and NOT BEFORE. The escrow fee for this? $130.

Now you know why!

7, All the way through the project insist the worker talks to you every couple of days, even if only for 5 minutes. in fact put it in the terms of the contract.

UPDATE!

I just thought I’d update you on the progress we’re making on the new backlinking service I’m having developed and give you a free WordPress Template and a Joomla one as well for if you use that great website building system..

The website is now built – but that was down to me. As I do know quite a bit about building websites I saved quite a lot of money by doing it myself which is obviously cool.

The Indian Programmer who’s building the software that will do all the grunt work quoted me $2,000, which in fairness is quite reasonable, to build a website so that’s quite a saving there and to be honest I quite enjoy building sites anyway so it wasn’t such a chore .

I’ll let you know the web address of the service nearer the time but I’ll keep it private for the time being as I’m still working on content and support features etc..

We’re in touch every other day and he puts his progress up online for me to follow along.

I heartily recommend you make sure you have this arrangement when you start a project. For instance one aspect of the system I had updated to be better for the users and he’d forgotten about the improvement and was going to program according to previous suggestions. This would have been a lot of wasted time aand expense if I hadn’t spotted the mistake and told him immediately.

The Programmer informed me that the database queueing system which will sit on a Dedicated Server is now built so he’s getting cracking on the WordPress Plugin which will be the link from everyone’s blog to the service. Maybe I should mention again you DON’T have to be running WordPress to use the backlinking system. Members will be able to login to the website and get their links submitted from there! Joomla integration will be coming soon too.
